This is the only source found for the individual named Archibald Cumming. 'Archibald' may be an error for Alexander, while still designated 'fiar', or he may have been a first son followed by a brother who inherited. The situation is unclear. ¹

Alexander married Janet STEWART, daughter of James STEWART 5th Lord Innermeath and Helen OGILVY. (Janet STEWART was born about 1555.)
