Elizabeth married John WARDLAW 5th of Torry, son of Sir Henry WARDLAW 7th of Wilton and 4th of Torry and Margaret LINDSAY.¹ (John WARDLAW 5th of Torry was born about 1475 and died in June 1557.)

  Marriage Notes:

"John Wardlaw of Torrie married Elizabeth Beaton, daughter of David (see Note below) Beaton of Balfour. On 6 October 1518 they were put in conjunct fee of the lands of Brunton and Dalginch. In 1533 David, Abbot of Arbroath, afterwards Cardinal Beaton, is designed his 'gude-brother.' "
