Jane married Alexander GORDON 12th Earl, 7th Marquis, 4th Duke of Gordon, 'Cock o' the North', son of Cosmo George GORDON 11th Earl, 6th Marquis, 3rd Duke of Gordon and Katharine GORDON, in July 1820 in Fochabers, Moray, Scotland.¹ (Alexander GORDON 12th Earl, 7th Marquis, 4th Duke of Gordon, 'Cock o' the North' was born on 18 June 1743 ¹, baptised on 21 June 1743 in Bellie parish, Moray, Scotland ² and died on 17 June 1827.)

  Marriage Notes:

"The Duke (Alexander Gordon) married, secondly, in July 1820, at Fochabers, Jane Christie, by whom he had had four illegitimate children. She died without further issue 17 June 1824."

"The Duke had several illegitimate children, four by Jane Christie above mentioned. One became a colonel in the Army, and was treated very kindly by the Duchess. A daughter, Catherine, was married, in 1813, to Captain John Anderson of Candacraig, an officer in the 28th Regiment."
