Duncan married Janet GORDON, daughter of Alexander GORDON 3rd Earl of Huntly and Jean STEWART, after 1529.1 (Janet GORDON was born about 1495 and died after 1562 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Duncan (Stewart) married Jonet Gordon, daughter of the Earl of Huntly, who had obtained the neighbouring territory of Lochaber. In 1558 John Campbell of Calder, Commendator of Ardchattan Priory, granted to Jonet Gordon, Lady of Appin, in consideration of payments by her for repairing the church and monastery, the two merk lands of Yriskay and Dyrremeanach for a yearly payment of £4 Scots, and in 1562 she resigned these lands to John Campbell, the natural son of the Commendator."
