Anne married Sir William LIVINGSTON of Darnchester, son of Sir William LIVINGSTON 6th of Kilsyth, Lord of Session, Vice-Chamberlain of Scotland and Antoinette DE BORD, 5 November 1607(contract).1 2 (Sir William LIVINGSTON of Darnchester was born about 1580 and died by 16 February 1615(dvp) 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Sir William (Livingston), styled of Darnchester, after his grandfather's death. He died vita patris after 22 June 1614 and before 16 February 1615. He married Anna Fleming, second daughter of John, first Earl of Wigtoun (contract 5 November 1607), who survived him, and married, secondly, before 18 September 1618, Sir John Seton of Barns, and died in July 1625. Sir William had issue a son, William, who succeeded his grandfather."

"Ann (Fleming), married, first (contract dated 5 November 1607), to Sir William Livingston of Darnchester, eldest son of Sir William Livingston of Kilsyth; her tocher was 12,000 merks ; and secondly (contract dated 18 September 1618, to Sir John Seton of Barns, and died in July 1625.' "

Anne next married Sir John SETON 2nd of Barnes, son of Sir John SETON 1st of Barnes, Senator of the College of Justice and Anna FORBES, by 18 September 1618.1 2 (Sir John SETON 2nd of Barnes was born about 1590 and died in March 1659 5.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Sir John Seton's second wife, by whom he had no issue, was Lady Anne Fleming, ' Dowager of Kilsyth,' and second daughter of John, sixth Lord Fleming, whose death is thus recorded in Boyd of Trochrig's Obituary, MS. in the library of the University of Glasgow : 'At the same time [July 1625], dyed at Edinburgh the Lady Kilsyth, younger ; since her husband's death, married to Sir John Seton of Barnes : a virtuous lady, fearing God; the worthy daughter of her excellent mother, the Lady Fleming.' Her 'Latter Will' was confirmed 17th June 1626.' "
