His sons John, by first marriage, min. of Edrom; Adam, probably notar in Aberdeen, and Mr Charles, died before 10th June 1735; Alexander, born 1689, died at Grammar School, Aberdeen, buried 7th March 1701. [Aberdeen Tests, 10th June 1735; Aberdeen Sas., 24th Sept. 1694; Old Machar Reg.]"
