QUIN, Thomas ¹

  General Notes:

Thomas Quin, aged 18 years, was recorded by the 1851 census for New Monkland living at 31 Bairds Square Rawyards with his sister Ellen and his aunt Sarah Vallely and cousins Bridget and Thomas Vallely. Thomas had been born in Ireland and worked as an iron miner. He was also recorded living at his parents' home at 28 Bairds Square. There his age was 17 years.

Thomas Queen was the informant of the death of his mother Mary Ann in 1869 in Bridgeton. He gave notice before the registrar on December 11 1869 and made his X mark. ^{1 2 3}
