  General Notes:

In 1851 Joshua lived with his wife and five children, aged 12 to 2 years, in Calton in Glasgow. Joshua was 40 years old.

Joshua was described as a book canvasser in the marriage lines of his son Isaac in 1864.

In the marriage certificate of his daughter Matilda in 1872, Joshua was described as a grocer's assistant. Matilda's address then was 71 Abercromby Street, Calton.

In 1881 Joshua was recorded living at 71 Abercromby Street, Glasgow. He was aged 72 years. He was a night porter. He had been born in Ireland. 3 4 5


Joshua married Mary WORKMAN on 7 March 1837 in Ballymoney Parish, County Antrim, Ireland.1 (Mary WORKMAN was born about 1808 in Ireland.)
