   Cause of his death was pulmonary phtisis of 3 years duration.

  General Notes:

James notified the registrar at Barrhead in 1883 when his brother, John, died.

His death certificate of 1893 recorded James as aged 32 years, married and a labourer in a sanitary work. 3

  Medical Notes:

Dr Allan P. McLeod certified the cause of death.

John Coleman, a neighbour, notified the registrar, Alex Watson, at Barrhead on 20 November 1893.
