Anne married John STEWART 3rd Earl of Lennox, son of Matthew STEWART 2nd Earl of Lennox and Elizabeth HAMILTON, 19 January 1511(1512)(contract) 29 January 1511(1512)(dispensation).^{1 2} (John STEWART 3rd Earl of Lennox was born about 1490 and died on 4 September 1526 in Manuel, near Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland ^{1 4}.). The cause of his death was slying by James Hamilton of Finnart.

"He (John Stewart) married (contract dated 19 January 1511) Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of John, Earl of Atholl, for which marriage a dispensation was obtained on 29 January 1511, and had issue..."
