"After her (Christian Irving's) death he (Robert Skene) married Christian Johnston, daughter of the laird of Crimond, on whom he begat Mr. Robert Skene, schoolmaster at Banchorie, and thereafter of the Grammar School of Aberdeen, which Mr. Robert Skene married Elizabeth Reid, daughter to and sister to Mr. Robert Reid, minister of Banchorie-ternan (MS. A); and had by her Robert Skene, who went to Poland, and two daughters, the eldest of whom married Mr. George Skene, parson of Kinkell."

Note:

Elizabeth Reid was the granddaughter of the elder Robert Reid, minister at Banchory Ternan. The younger Robert, also minister there, was his grandson, son of his son John.
