Euphemia married Dr James FORBES of Pitmedden, Physician in Aberdeen, son of Reverend Mr William FORBES Mediciner, then Minister of Tarves parish and Janet GREGORY, on 9 December 1747 in Montrose parish, Angus, Scotland.¹ (Dr James FORBES of Pitmedden, Physician in Aberdeen was baptised on 4 December 1701 in Leslie parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland and died on 19 July 1774 ³.)

"Dr James Forbes .... was twice married- first to Helen, daughter of James Forbes of Thornton, and, secondly, to Euphemia, daughter of John Row of Bondeth. By the latter marriage there were three sons and one daughter -

William of Echt and Springhill; John of Bodnod, North Wales, captain, 40th Regiment; James, of New York; and Euphemia, who married George Strachan Keith of Auquhorsk."
