"Archie is mentioned only once in a Bond dated 1663. Given the date of the Bond he must be the son of John and Jean Muirhead. The bond is hard to read but you can make out: I John Gartshoir of That Ilk grant ....behalft of Archibald Gartshoir me.. my son....... Then again in the document Archie is mentioned as 'my Sone'. There is also a mention to Alexander Gartshore near the bottom of the document."
