Elizabeth married William LIVINGSTON 1st of Kilsyth, son of John LIVINGSTON of Callendar and Agnes DOUGLAS, 10 November 1421(papal dispensation).1 (William LIVINGSTON 1st of Kilsyth was born about 1395 and died in 1459 1.) Marriage Notes: "The founder of the family of Livingston of Kilsyth was William Livingston, a younger son of Sir John Livingston of Callendar, who fell at Homildon Hill, by his second wife, Agnes, daughter of Sir James Douglas of Dalkeith. He got as his patrimony the lands of Wester Kilsyth, and from his maternal grandfather, Sir James Douglas, some lands near Dalkeith. He is also in his son's infeftment and other writs described as 'of Balcastell.' He married Elizabeth, daughter and coheiress of William de Caldcotis, with whom he got the lands of Graden in Berwickshire. For this marriage a papal dispensation was obtained 10 November 1421, the parties being within the third degree of consanguinity....
