"Gilbert Keith, son of Gilbert K. in Auchquhorsk ; educated at King's College, Aberdeen; M.A. (1601); pres. by Ludovic, Duke of Lennox, 29th April, and inst. 15th July 1611 ; still min. Jan. 1643, and is mentioned, probably as still in the charge, though in extreme old age, at 19th April 1659. He marr. Mary Hay, and had issue George, min. of Monkeggie (Keithhall).
