"He (William Fraser Udny of Udny and Inverallochy) died 13 December, 1792, when the succession opened to the Auchterellon branch. We now return to Robert Udny of Auchterellon (No. X. above), the second son of John Udny of Udny, Belhelvie, and the Newburgh. He had a crown charter of Auchterellon, 22 July, 1661. He matriculated his arms as second son of Udny with a crescent for difference. He married Elizabeth, only daughter of Colonel John Fullerton of Dudwick, and died in January, 1708, having had three sons (Alexander, d. s. p., 17 12, John and James)"
