Edward Denny was recorded in the death certificate of his daughter, Mary Lynch, as a ' farmer', and he was noted him as deceased.

"Denny, Edward of Doaghbeg, Clondavaddog, Donegal" is found in Griffiths Valuation of Ireland. Another entry there is "Deeny, Edward, Magherawarden, Clondavaddog, Donegal". Clondavaddog can be found at the very north west of Lough Swilly. A relatively large numbers of Sweenys were recorded in that parish too. ^{1 2}

Edward married Mary SWEENIE. (Mary SWEENIE was born about 1780.)
