"Alexander, son of second marriage, who had a Crown charter 25 February 1632 of Knok in Strathisla. In 1629 he was admitted a burgess of Banff. He married Marie, daughter of James Ogilvy of Boyne and Isobelle Ogilvy, daughter of Walter Ogilvy of Dunlugus and Banff."
