The 1851 census for St Mungo parish Glasgow, Scotland, recorded Edward, a 30 year old man, living with his wife and their three children at 126 Garngad Road. He had been born in Ireland and was a labourer in an iron work. 3


Edward married Sophia PRICE on 14 November 1841 in Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Sophia PRICE was born about 1820 in Ireland 1 3 and died in 1892 in Paramatta, New South Wales, Australia 1.)
