Jane Thomson was recorded by the 1881 census for Edzell in Forfarshire. She was wife of John Thomson and mother of James and Martha. Her age was noted as 30 years and her birthplace as Hoddam, Dumfriesshire. 2 3


Jane married John THOMSON, son of John THOMSON and Jane DUTHIE, on 6 February 1873 in Aberlemno, Angus, Scotland.1 (John THOMSON was born on 25 December 1840 in Kinneff, Kincardineshire, Scotland 3 and was baptised on 25 January 1841 in Arbuthnott, Kincardineshire, Scotland 1.)
