In the 1851 census a young woman of this name, of 16 years of age, unmarried, was living in the household of William and Sarah Quigley at 28 South Coburg Street in the Laurieston district of Glasgow. She was recorded as the grand-daughter of this couple. She worked as a shirtmaker. Her brother William Farr, two years younger than Letitia, was also living there. 2


Letetia married William QUIGLEY on 25 December 1854 in Gorbals, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (William QUIGLEY was born about 1835.)
