Susan was not married to her son Robert's father. She worked as a 'papermill worker'. She was present where his death occurred and made her X mark on his death notice.


Susan married John QUIGLEY, son of John QUIGLEY and Mary CALLICHAN, in Common Law Marriage. (John QUIGLEY was born about 1838 in Dunbartonshire, Scotland 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

There seems to have been no regular marriage between John Quigley and Susan Donaldson, but their children were recognised by both parents.
