In the death certificate of his daughter, Annie Walker, in 1903 John Quigley was recorded as a railway engine driver, deceased.

In the marriage certificate of his daughter, Mary, and in her death certificate of 1897, and in the death certificate of his son, Patrick, in 1904, John Quigley was recorded as a 'Locomotive Driver, (deceased)'. ¹

John married Margaret McGARVEY.¹ (Margaret McGARVEY was born about 1820 in Ireland ¹ and died 18 June 1888 at 9.45 am in 123 Stobcross Street, Glasgow, Scotland ¹.). The cause of her death was bronchitis over 6 weeks.
