James married Agnes QUIGLEY, daughter of Samuel QUIGLY and Catharine DOCHARTY, on 15 May 1854 in St Joseph's RC Chapel, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 2 (Agnes QUIGLEY was born on 28 February 1832 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland 7 8 and was baptised on 18 March 1832 in St Margaret's RC Church, Ayr, Scotland 8.)
