Mary Havern was recorded as aged 24 years old in her son John's 1855 birth certificate. John was her third child. She had been born in 'Tillilick' in County Tyrone. 2


Mary married John HAVERN on 28 May 1851 in St Margaret's RC Chapel, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (John HAVERN was born about 1818 in County Tyrone, Ireland.)


  Marriage Notes:

The couple were married by Fr J. Buckley. The witnesses were James McDaid and Michael Ryan.

The earlier date of 18 May 1851 in Bothwell parish recorded for the marriage in the IGI was probably the banns of marriage. The bride was named as Margaret McConvil and the groom as John Hevern. 1
