William McGonigal died as a baby at the age of 4 months. His mother, Jessie McGonigal, who was present where his death occurred gave notice of it before the registrar at Dundee on 6 May 1884 and made her X mark. 1


Jessie married Charles McGONAGALL Hackle Maker, son of William McGONAGALL "Poet and Jute Carpet Weaver" and Jean KING. (Charles McGONAGALL Hackle Maker was born on 16 May 1857 in Dundee, Angus, Scotland 2.)
