   Another name for Catherine was HALT, Cathrine.2

  General Notes:

The 1841 census for Springburn near Glasgow recorded Cathrine Halt and a young baby, Mary Jane, also surnamed Halt, living in the household of Francis and Jane Vallaley. She was probably Catherine Vallely, their daughter, married in 1838 to James Holt. Cathrine Halt's age was in the 20-24 years range and she had been born in Ireland. 2


Catherine married James HOLT on 20 October 1838 in Gorbals Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (James HOLT was born about 1810.)
