"Jean, m. John Cuthbert of Castlehill (Reg. of Genealogies; Lyon Court, I. 195, where there appears some doubt as to the Bishop's ancestry, and the suggestion is made that the descent was from the Cavalier and his wife Dorothy Bruce, which is impossible)."
