   Other names for Cecilia were RAMSAY, Cecilia 2 and TWIGLEY, Cecilia.2

  General Notes:

Cecilia's daughter Jane Quigly married in 1861. Jane's marriage certificate recorded her mother's name as 'Cecilia Quigley maiden surname Cunningham'. Cecilia was deceased by then.

John Twigley died in 1914. His death certificate recorded him as a mason (journeyman) married to Mary Campbell. His age was recorded as 73 years. Both parents were deceased. The death certificate listed his mother as Cecilia Twigley MS Ramsay, not Ellen Robertson as was recorded in John's marriage certificate. 1 2


Cecilia married Daniel QUIGLEY, son of John QUIGLEY and Jane RAMSAY. (Daniel QUIGLEY was born about 1815 in County Donegal, Ireland and died in 1875 in 49 Gallowgate, Glasgow, Scotland 2.). The cause of his death was chronic bronchitis & cardiac affection.
