  General Notes:

The 1841 census for Dundee recorded John King living at Butterburn with his family. He was in the 50-54 years age group and had been born in Scotland outside of the county of Angus. He was a handloom weaver.

When Jane McGonnagal died in February 1911, her death certificate recorded her father, John King, as a 'weaver deceased'. 1 2


John married Jean KING MS UNKNOWN. (Jean KING MS UNKNOWN was born about 1793 in Ireland 1.)
