   Cause of his death was Cancer Epithelial of Upper Jaw-mouth.2

  General Notes:

When Duncan Carmichael died in 1884 he was recorded as 73 years of age, a "Mason (journeyman) Married to Janet Harris". Both of his parents were deceased.

  Medical Notes:

Dr Thomson certified the cause of death.

Charles Petrie, a neighbour, who was present where the death occurred, gave notice of his death before the registrar at Maryhill on 13 October 1884. 2
