  General Notes:

The 1841 census for Monkton and Prestwick recorded Mary George living with her husband and large family in 'Prestwick proper'. Her age was noted as being in the 40-44 years group and her birthplace was Ayrshire.

Mary had already died when her son Thomas died in 1866. 1 3


Mary married William GEORGE, son of Thomas GEORGE and Hannah ORR, on 19 June 1818 in Monkton & Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland. (William GEORGE was born in 1799 in Ireland 1 2 and died before 18 April 1866.)
