John married Flora McKENDRICK, daughter of John McKENDRICK and Sibby KELLY, on 29 June 1799 in Killean and Kilchenzie Parish, Argyll, Scotland.1 (Flora McKENDRICK was born about 1779-1780, died 31 October 1857 at 2.00 pm in Glencardach, Killean and Kilchenzie, Argyll, Scotland and was buried in Brackly Burial Ground, Carradale, Argyll, Scotland.). The cause of her death was infirmities of age.
