  General Notes:

The 1871 census for New Monkland parish in Lanarkshire recorded David Campbell, aged 5 years and born in Airdrie, living at 76 Black Street, Rawyards, with his parents and siblings.

David was recorded by the 1881 census for New Monkland living with his mother and family. He was a coal miner, age given as 16 years and he had been born at Rawyards, Lanarkshire.

David was the informant of the death of his mother in 1907. His address was noted merely as 'Dunrobbin'. 1 2
