Elizabeth married Patrick KINNAIRD 7th of Inchture, son of Patrick KINNAIRD 6th of Inchture and Mariota HEPBURN, 1 May 1576(contract).1 2 (Patrick KINNAIRD 7th of Inchture was born about 1555 and died in July 1590 2.). The cause of his death was killed by William Ogilvy, a son of Patrick Ogilvy of Inchmartin.

"He (Patrick Kinnaird) married Elizabeth, daughter of Patrick Gray of Balgarno, contract 1 May 1576; on 26 of that month his grandfather John granted her part of the lands of Inchture in liferent. She had an assignation, 26 August 1590, of the ward and relief of all his lands. Caution of £500 was found for her, 22 July 1590, that she would not harm Andrew Hude in Balgay, his wife, bairns or tenants. They had issue"

Elizabeth next married William GRAY of Bandirran, then of Inchture, Sheriff-depute of Forfar, son of Patrick GRAY 5th Lord Gray and Barbara RUTHVEN, after July 1590.1 2 (William GRAY of Bandirran, then of Inchture, Sheriff-depute of Forfar was born about 1563 and died after 11 February 1611 1.)


  Marriage Notes:

"William (Gray), of Bandirran, afterwards in Inchture, Sheriff-depute of Forfar, admitted Burgess of Dundee 13 January 1589-90, was charged before the Privy Council with breaking up the House of Bonnytoun 7 April 1601, and found caution. On 14 June 1605 he had a charter to himself and Elizabeth Gray, his spouse, of the lands of Bandirran from Patrick, Lord Gray, and Patrick, Master of Gray. As assignee of his deceased brother James, he, as William Gray of Pitscandlie, assigned a lease of the teinds of the lands of Easter and Wester Newtouns to his brother Patrick, Lord Gray, on 11 February 1611. He married Elizabeth Gray, Lady Inchture, relict of Patrick Kinnaird of Inchture.
